International Women’s Day Celebration: Two Day International Webinar at CUSAT

As part of the International Women’s Day Celebration, the Women’s Studies Center, Cochin University of Science and Technology is organising a two-day International Webinar on ‘Gendered Discourses in STEM’ on March 8 at 9.30 am.

Dr. K. N Madhusoodanan, Vice Chancellor, CUSAT will inaugurate the webinar, which is jointly organised by the Cochin University Women’s Welfare Organization (CUWWO) and the Indira Gandhi National Center for the Arts (IGNCA). Dr. P G Latha, Former Director, Jawaharlal Nehru Tropical Botanical Garden and Research Institute, Thiruvananthapuram, will deliver the keynote address.

Dr. Daly Davis, Assistant Professor, S K Somaiya College, Maharashtra, Dr (Miss) A Mani, senior member, International Rough Set Society, Woman Scientist, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, Dr. Vinitha Gowda, Associate Professor, IISER, Bhopal & Visiting Researcher, University of Edinburgh, Dr. Honey John, Professor, Department of Polymer Science and Rubber Technology, CUSAT and Arosha S. Adikaram, Chair Professor of Human Resource Management & Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Colombo will speak on a various of topics.

In the inaugural session, Dr. Dr. Meera V., Registrar, Dr. E N Sajith, Regional Director, IGNCA, Aisha Sumi Mohammad, Secretary, CUWWO, Dr. Sangeetha K Pratap, Asst.
