NISH to Conduct Entrance Training for Deaf for Degree Course

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
The National Institute of Speech and Hearing (NISH) will be conducting a one-day orientation programme-cum-model examination for the deaf students preparing for the entrance examinations for its degree programmes, here on May 25.

The entrance test, Degree Admission Competency Exam (DACE), is for admissions to B.Sc. Computer Science (HI), BFA(HI) and B.Com (HI) degree programmes conducted by NISH exclusively for deaf students. Basic competence of students in English, Maths and Logical Ability will be tested in DACE. The orientation, being conducted by the faculty of NISH, will provide insights into the preparations for entrance test.

Students who have passed Plus-Two are eligible to attend the orientation programme and the seats are limited. Plus-Two teachers of deaf schools are also invited to attend the coaching. For registration, visit http://nish.ac.in/others/news/722. Last date of application is May 24.
