Short-term PG Training Course for Teachers of Deaf Students at NISH

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
The National Institute of Speech & Hearing (NISH) is conducting a two-month Post-graduate Certificate programme for teachers of students with disabilities like deaf and hard of hearing (DHH) in the higher education sector.

The programme, NISH Innovations Model-Training for the Inclusive Educator (NIM-TIE), will equip the special educator with sufficient knowledge and proficiency to become a sensitive and competent inclusive instructor. Experts will lead the course, which has classroom lectures, teaching sessions, online courses, TED talks, reflective journals and other innovative modules to mould a creative teacher for the students with special needs.

There are only 10 seats for NIM-TIE and preference will be given to sponsored candidates from colleges and schools for the deaf. Post-graduates in any discipline can apply for the programme. For registration, visit: http://nish.ac.in/others/news/792, Ph: 0471 3066682
