12 out of 18 Amrita Academy Grads Clear Civil Service Exams

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
Twelve out of eighteen IAS aspirants trained by the Amrita Civil Service Academy (ACSA) cleared this year’s Civil Service Examinations and will take up top administrative posts in the country.
The successful candidates and their ranks are as follows: Dipin P.R (135), Albert John (175), Arjun Pandian (248), Syamnath S. (345), Chandni Chandran (415), Stefan Simon Tobias (470), Aishwariya Sagar (632), Aamritanjana S. Kumar (662), Ehjas Aslam (704), Syama Saji (708), Rehna R. (735) and Adharsh Rajendran (739).
The candidates who cleared the written test were provided an intensive training regimen in preparation for the civil service interview by an expert panel. The panel comprised Santhosh Thanega of ‘Sankalp Civil Services’, a pioneering New Delhi-based NGO that prepares aspirants for the UPSC examination, former Haryana Chief Secretary Dr G. Prasanna Kumar IAS (Retd.) and ACSA Chairman Prof. K. Gopalakrishnan.
A special television programme, titled One in a Million, based on the training session will be telecast on Amrita TV channel on June 12. The programme is intended to encourage and prepare civil service candidates to tackle the country’s most competitive examination.
The Academy had invited applications for the next batch of civil service aspirants. Graduates in any discipline are eligible to apply.
