BookMyDay Virtual Wedding Expo, the first-ever virtual wedding expo in Kerala organised by the Kochi-based startup Lacasmiento BookMyDay Pvt Ltd, has begun on Friday. Popular actor Shritha Sivadas inaugurated the show via a virtual ceremony held on the social media page of BookMyDay expo. She inaugurated the expo by registering to it.
“When it comes to wedding planning, each stage is important. People wish to get the best services on their big day. In the current pandemic period, an expo like this can be very helpful for them to choose the best. It provides A to Z information on this regard,” she said during the live ceremony.
The virtual wedding expo, which took shape during the COVID period, features vendors from all districts of Kerala. The expo will continue till October 11 from 9 am to 9 pm. It aims to connect those who are in the planning stage of their wedding with vendors without any hassles.
From designers to makeup artists, photographers, event planners, caterers, bakers and travels, the virtual expo has participants from more than 30 categories required for a wedding. People can log in to the expo, explore e-booths where vendors exhibit their profile and photos and videos of their works and connect to suitable dealers through a chat or a call. Options are available to download brochures of potential vendors and held virtual meetings to communicate customer priorities to sellers.
