CII Digital Saksham Transforms Kerala’s Entrepreneurial Landscape

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has been leading transformative initiatives for the micro-enterprises in Kerala, with Digital Saksham Project in partnership with Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth. This initiative is reshaping the operations of MSMEs, facilitating access to untapped markets and igniting unprecedented levels of innovation. From traditional sectors like bamboo and coconut industries to cutting-edge fields like auto parts manufacturing and engineering, Digital Saksham is empowering local entrepreneurs to leverage the benefit of Digital Tools.

The programme has reached over 10,000 micro-enterprises and conducted training sessions for over 2,000 entrepreneurs. This has resulted in more than 800 micro enterprises leveraging the benefits of the digital tool and showcasing their product to Pan India with social media marketing and receiving orders through digital payments. Entrepreneurs from diverse sectors such as food processing, garment manufacturing, and automotive parts production have embraced digital marketing techniques, paving the way for unprecedented growth and success. Through a series of carefully planned phases, including awareness building, training sessions, and the adoption of digital tools, Digital Saksham is bridging the gap between digital and traditional craftsmanship. By harnessing the power of digital marketing, social media, and e-commerce, entrepreneurs are expanding their reach beyond physical boundaries, tapping into new customer bases, and driving sales growth.
