MUMBAI:
IDBI Bank, with a view to extend relief to local population of Odisha State, severely hit by Cyclone Fani, has decided not to charge penal interest pertaining to delay/ non-payment of Pre EMI/ EMI, cheque bounce charges etc for the period of 3 months viz. May, June and July 2019 for its Retail Loan customers (Home Loan, Loan against Property, Auto Loan, Education Loan, Personal Loan) as a goodwill gesture.
Speaking on this initiative, G.M.Yadwadkar, Deputy Managing Director, IDBI Bank said that “We are deeply moved by the havoc and destruction caused by the Cyclone. During this hour of crisis, we stand in solidarity with the people in Odisha”
