Rio de Janeiro: Two-time World Championship bronze medallist P V Sindhu of India beat London Games silver medallist Wang Yihan of China to enter the women’s singles semifinals at the Rio Olympics on Tuesday.
This is Sindhu’s debut performance at the Olympics.
She will face world No 6 Nozomi Okuhara of Japan in the last-four stage.
