KP Hormis Centennial Celebration Ends in Style

In a ceremonious conclusion to the year-long birth centenary celebrations of Late KP Hormis (Federal Bank founder), a public meeting was conducted at Mookkannur today. The celebrations were marked by various remarkable activities aimed at infrastructure development of Mookkannur, where KP Hormis was born. Digitalization of Mookkannnur village, construction of houses for the homeless, walkathon, various cultural and sport events targeting the villagers of Mookkannur etc were some such activities which were done in the run-up to the final event.
Padma Vibhushan Dr. E Sreedharan was the chief guest and he delivered the key note address in the public meeting held at Sacred Heart High School, Mookkannur. The Directors of the Bank, various sociopolitical personalities, retired and serving executives and employees of the Bank, general public and customers of the Bank attended the meeting. Formal handing over of a newly constructed house under Bank’s CSR project was done on the occasion. A grand cultural fete was also arranged in the eve.
While addressing the media, Shyam Srinivasan, MD & CEO of the Bank said that this concluding celebration marked a watershed in the Bank’s pursuit towards more vigorous adherence to the values propounded by the founder and commitment to society.
Ashutosh Khajuria, ED & CFO, Federal Bank, C Balagopal, Director, Raju Hormis, Head, CSR, Molly Vincent, President, Mookkannoor, Grama Panchayat were also addressed the gathering.
