  • Sachin Tendulkar Joins Spartan International as Investor and Member Advisory Board

    LONDON:
    Ravi Thakran (Chairman, Spartan International) announced Sachin Tendulkar, widely regarded as one of the World’s greatest batsmen of all time and affectionately known as Master Blaster, has joined the Spartan International Group.
    Sachin Tendulkar has joined as an investor and will serve on the Advisory Board alongside Chris Gayle, Kunal Sharma, Managing Director & Founder of Spartan Sports and Ravi Thakran. Sachin would also be advising Spartan on enhancing safety using technology and innovation across all sporting equipment designedsachin and manufactured by Spartan. Sachin and the Spartan management will endeavour to make sports safer and bring more people into a sporting way of life.
    Spartan International has grown to become known as an innovative product developer across a broad range of sports including Cricket, all Football disciplines, Netball, Basketball, to name a few, and a wide range of health & fitness products, including, an active shoes and apparel range.
    Spartan International, headquartered in Australia, boasts a world-class product development team, manufacturing facilities and is dedicated to a wide range of philanthropic initiatives including the Spartan Foundation.
    In January 2016, Spartan also launched the first global Virtual Sports Club, The Spartan Cricket Club.
