Prof. Bhushan Patwardhan, Chairman – NAAC was the Keynote Speaker at the Annual Academic Retreat ‘Bodhi’ and addressed the faculty of Rajagiri College of Social Sciences and Rajagiri Business School.
In the curtain raiser session, he stressed on the autonomy that a university brings into the realms of education. Prof. Patwardhan focused that the three dimensions of this autonomy revolves around research, curriculum and the ability to attract international students and faculty. Prof. Patwardhan also called upon the faculty members to align with the finer differences in teaching as envisioned in Indian culture and to strive to be a guru – one who not only teaches but also awakens and help achieve realisation.
