Acquire Competency in Soft Skills: KSIDC chairman

Even if having competency in engineering education, without acquisition of soft skills, it is not easy for our students to get lucrative foreign assignments and advancement in their career, said Christy Fernadez, Chairman KSIDC.
He was inaugurating the three day international conference on Recent Trends in Engineering and mail-02-11Technology organised by School Engineering at Cusat. He exhorted the technologists to convert technology for the welfare of the common man.
Cusat Vice Chancellor Dr. J. Letha presided over the function. Dr. Earl Ingram, Senior Vice Chancellor, Troy University, Dr. Tatsuyuki Yamamoto, Professor, Shimane University, Dr. Chandramohan Kumar, member, Syndicate, Dr. Radhakrishna Panicker, Principal, SOE, Cusat, Dr. K.K Saju, Professor and Conference chair, Cusat spoke on the occasion. Over 30 papers were presented.
