KOCHI : The Centre for Excellence in Orthopaedics & Rheumatology at Aster Medcity celebrated the successful completion of 250 robotic knee replacements within a year. Patients who underwent this procedure were honored at the get-together hosted by the hospital. Loknath Behra, MD of Kochi Metro Rail Limited and Former DGP of Kerala Police, inaugurated the event held in Aster Medcity.

Patients engaged in various activities including dart games, and golf in association with Decathlon. The highlight of the program was ramp walk by the patients with doctors and a soothing musical performance by doctor.
In conjunction with the event, the hospital also hosted a three-day Ortho Robot Expo from 7th, showcasing the Ortho Robot Expo used in joint replacement surgeries. The expo served as an educational platform for both medical professionals and the general public, highlighting the role of robotics in enhancing surgical precision and patient outcomes.
