THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
A nine day Nationwide cleanliness drive is rolled out by Railways starting from 17th September 2016. Railway aims to improve the quality of service and clean
liness by taking up such programmes at regular intervals . At Thiruvananthapuram the programme was started by Prakash Butani, Divisional Railway Manager by administering the Swachta Pledge to staff and Volunteers. A team comprising 70 members then carried out the cleaning of Power house road entry of Thiruvananthapuram central station today. Similar functions arranged at Nagercoil, Ernakulam, Thrissur stations under Thiruvananthapuram division.
