THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
In an effort to provide new learning, skills and inspiration to young children, HLL Management Academy (HMA), the academic division of HLL Lifecare Limited will organise “Summer Mojo” – a five-day summer camp for children aged between 10-17 years at their campus at Keston Road, Kowdiar from April 18-23.
This camp which aims at the academic and nonacademic development of the students, will nurture their multiple intelligence including linguistic, visual- spacial , musical, kinesthetic , intra personal, inter personal, naturalistic or existential.
The summer camp, organized in association with the theatre troupe, “Me an You” will be led by noted theatre celebrity, activist and also the creative director of Me an You, Manu Jose. It will have sessions for Personality Development, Theatre, Origametry, Installation Art and Batik Painting.
A recipient of Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy Award and Kalashree Award, Manu’s experience in working with communities and children spans two decades, focusing on theatre as a tool to effect social change. He is Kerala’s favorite ‘live’ storyteller, and anchorperson of many award winning children's television shows.
Summer Mojo will be based on the psychological analysis –Transactional Analysis (TA) and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NILP) of each student.
