Jimmy Rocks Culinary Exploration Continues at Kochi Kitchen

After a short break and halt during Ramadan, Jimmy Rocks is back on his culinary journey. The exploration resumes at the Grand Trunk Road.
His journey had begun in February 2016 from NH 15 and he shared with the hotel the flavors of Gujarat, Rajasthan and Punjab. During this journey, he will be travelling from Delhi to Sonargaon covering places likejimmy rocks Mathura, Firozabad, Lucknow, Varanasi, Howrah and Behrampur. Enriching the hotel guest experience at Kochi Marriott will be Jimmy’s mission.
Reporting exciting local recipes back to Kochi Kitchen, the restaurant will feature dishes that are signature to Jimmy’s current stop on the Food Trail. Jimmy Rocks culinary adventure will be showcased at Kochi Kitchen every weekend (Friday, Saturday. Sunday) from 22 nd July till 28 th August 2016 during dinner, 7:00 pm till 11:00 pm.
Jimmy Rocks will now communicate with our new Executive Chef, Prakash Chettiyar who hails from Sankarankovil, Tamil Nadu. With more than 16 years of experience, Chef Prakash was previously the Executive Chef of The Oberoi Cecil Shimla. He has expertise mainly in Coastal and Indian Cuisine along with Thai and Italian.
He started his career at the Trident Cochin and during his culinary sojourn he has been part of many laurels. Samudra, Coastal cuisine restaurant in Trident Chennai was awarded the best coastal cuisine restaurant during his tenure. He is a master in handling and curating personalized menus for large banqueting events.
He has represented to showcase Indian delicacies during the Incredible India campaign in ITB Messe Berlin and has been trained at The Oberoi Bangalore, The Oberoi Grand Kolkata and The Oberoi New Delhi and The Oberoi Udaivilas.
Kochi Marriott will showcase the expertise of Prakash Chettiyar to our guests along with Jimmy Rocks at Kochi Kitchen to commence with and will be closely working with Chef Saji, our master chef at Cassava Restaurant.
