Maker Village to Hold Workshop on Microwave Electronics on Feb 27

Kochi-based hardware incubator Maker Village has planned a workshop on ‘fundamentals’ of microwave electronics at its campus on 27th Feb 2018.
The workshop is being organised with the collaboration of the Society for Applied Microwave Electronic Engineering and Research (SAMEER), set-up by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, and Chennai-based Centre for Electromagnetics (CEM) under it.
The workshop, which is open for startup companies and individuals from industries and academia, will be held from 10 AM to 5:00 pm. Registration is free and all attendees are required to register on http://bit.ly/2FUbsq9
SAMEER was formed to promote research and development in Microwave Electronics and CEM has established itself in the field of Electromagnetic Interference and Compatibility for the more than twenty five years. The National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) accredited centre supports Industries in various aspects of Electronic Product Development, Product Testing, Systems Design and Development.
The workshop will cover topics such as fundamentals of Electromagnetic Interference and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMI/EMC) and their standard, measurement and design.
“The topics in the workshop will be fruitful for all the electronic professionals and those who are interested in knowing about the certifications based on EMI & EMC,” said Mr. Rohan Kalani, COO at Maker Village.
Maker Village, the largest electronics incubator in India, is a joint initiative by the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) and Kerala government.
