Nice Systems, a software company at the Alappuzha Cherthala Infopark introduces software through which loans in 37 primary cooperative agricultural development banks in the state can now be paid online. The programme held at Infopark was inaugurated by Kerala State Cooperative Agricultural & Rural Development Bank President Adv. C.K. Shajimohan.
There are a total of 77 Primary Cooperative Agricultural & Rural Development Banks in the state. Of these, 37 banks are using the software developed by Nice Systems. Implementing the online payment system in these banks will enable people who have taken loans to pay it back without visiting the bank. Nice Systems CEO Bineesh developed this software with real-time automatic credit facility in association with Federal Bank. The Agricultural & Rural Development Banks, which work for the prosperity of the farmers and the country by providing various types of loans on a long-term and short-term basis in the agricultural sectors have been providing crores of rupees as loans every financial year. This facility will enable lakhs of farmers to access the modern banking system and streamline as well as verify their transactions.
Infopark DGM Sreejith Chandran presided over the launching ceremony at Infopark Auditorium. Federal Bank Vice President Sajan KP delivered the keynote address. Central Bank Directors Adv Philson Mathew and T.A Nawaz, Alathur Bank President V Prabhakaran, Kochi Bank President K N Sunilkumar, Nice System CEO Binesh Chand K C, Chalakudy Bank President T K Adityavarma Raja, Ottapalam Bank President Sudhakaran and Alappuzha Bank President Wahid also spoke at the event.
