West Wind Mega Run: a Marathon for Cancer Awareness

Rotary Club of Cochin West organizes a marathon for the purpose of creating cancer awareness which is named West Wind Mega Run.
The marathon will be on 28th of this month upholding the slogan Test, Treat and Thrive. A 10 km run and a 5 km run are being planned as part of the event. The 1Okm run is to start a 5.30 am from Decathlon Kalamasery till Cheranellor Signal junction and back. The 5 km run will be flagged off 30 minutes later from Decathlon till FACT signal junction and back.
This charity run is intended to spread awareness of Cancer prevention, need for early detection through extensive screening programs Iike mammogram camps, and to aid financially poor victims seeking help for cancer treatment. The fund collecting through the conduct of this run through registration fees and sponsorships will be utilized for the same.
