Aster Hospitals launches ‘Zindagi’, a specialized treatment program, to economically disadvantaged bone cancer (sarcoma) patients. The program, spearheaded by renowned cancer specialist Dr. Subin Sugath, Senior Consultant – Orthopaedic Oncology proficient in the surgical treatment of bone tumors in both adults and children, as well as metastatic lesions of the spine and other bones. “With accurate diagnosis and timely intervention, bone cancer can be completely treated and cured”, said Dr. Subin Sugath, Senior Consultant, Orthopaedic Oncology.

The Zindagi scheme was conceived to ensure that financial constraints should not hinder underprivileged patients from accessing critical treatment for diseases like sarcoma.

The collaborative efforts behind Zindagi involve Aster DM Foundation, MIMS Charitable Trust, and Aster Volunteers, along with the participation of prominent public figures like A. M Arif MP, MLAs P. K Kunhalikutty and K. B Ganesh Kumar, and other People’s representatives. This multi-faceted approach aims to expand treatment accessibility and provide necessary financial assistance through crowdfunding for eligible patients.
