In a heartwarming celebration of Heart Day, Aster Medcity in association with Aster Volunteers took centre stage at the Fort Kochi beachside, bringing together visitors and locals alike for an array of exciting and informative programs aimed at promoting heart health awareness. This is as part of the ‘Heart 2 Heart’ campaign by Aster DM Foundation to encourage people across GCC and India to get active for a healthier heart while simultaneously making a meaningful impact on the lives of underprivileged children.
The day commenced with an electrifying flash mob that captured the attention of everyone present at the beachside. A total of 100 red-coloured heart-shaped balloons were released during the inaugural ceremony by Farhaan Yasin, Vice President of Aster India, and Dr. Sandeep R, Consultant- Interventional Cardiologist at Aster Medcity.
Dr. Sandeep R addressed the gathering and emphasized the significance of heart health and healthier lifestyles. Farhaan Yasin, Vice President of Aster India, also shared his insights on the occasion, further reinforcing the hospital’s dedication to promoting heart health.
The event had performance of renowned instrumentalist Chandrabose and a variety of heart-healthy activities, including fun games and quiz sessions. The winners of the competitions were given heart-shaped keychains and gifts.
One of the highlights of the evening was the musical tribute emphasizing the theme of the event, (Heart) playing popular movie songs, starting with “Hridayam,” a Malayalam word synonymous with the heart.
