Cancer Survival: ‘I Can’ APP’s Mascot Released

The mascot of ‘I CAN’, an app being developed under the seed money project titled ‘Development of Gamified Health Care Solutions for Patients Suffering from Cancer’ by Cochin University School of Management Studies Assistant Professor Manu Melvin Joy has been released.

The mascot named as ‘I Can Man’ was released jointly by Famous Oncologist Dr. VP Gangadharan and former MP and film actor Innocent. Dr. Gangadharan said that an app to uplift the spirit of the cancer patients who are going through the toughest phase of their life is the need of the hour. Dr Manu Melvin Joy is a cancer survivor under the treatment of Dr Gangadharan like actor Innocent.

The launch was done at the annual get together of cancer survivors organized by Cochin Cancer Society at Sripoorna Auditorium, Marad. The mascot was designed by Anjan Satheesh who is winner of the ‘national award for outstanding creative adult with disabilities’ instituted by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
