Court Remands Jisha murder accused to police custody

Perumbavoor: Ameer Ul Islam, the key accused in Jisha murder case, was remanded to police custody for ten days by a local court on Tuesday.

Police sought Ameer’s custody for detailed questioning, identification parade and evidence collection.

The police have already done an identification parade at which a woman, who a neighbour of Jisha, identified Ameer. This woman is the key witness in the case.
Identification parade by other witnesses will be held in the coming days.

Now, the tasks before the police are finding the weapon used and the real motive behind the crime.

Meanwhile, Ameer’s brother Badr-ul was taken into custody by the police from a private company in Perumbavoor.
