Cycle Rally Organized By Central GST Kochi

As part of the ongoing Azadi ka Amruth Mahotsav celebrations, a cycle rally with public participation was organized in Ernakulam by the Central GST, Kochi Commissionerate with the theme “Pride in Our Roots, Unity in Our Hearts.” Jane K Nathaniel, Chief Commissioner of Central GST & Customs, Thiruvananthapuram Zone flagged off the rally in the presence of Maneesh Kumar, Commissioner,CGST Kochi and other senior officers.

Staff members, cycling enthusiasts, students, and public attended the rally .Showcasing their support for the nation’s rich cultural heritage and commitment to unity and progress, the participants cycled through the city’s streets, waving the tricolour and singing patriotic songs.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Commissioner said, “This cycle rally is a symbol of our collective spirit and strength as a nation. It is a testament to our commitment to uphold the values of freedom, democracy, and unity that our leaders fought for. I am proud to see so many people coming together to celebrate our shared history and work towards a brighter future for India.”

The Commissioner, Maneesh Kumar, added, “The theme of the rally, ‘Pride in Our Roots, Unity in Our Hearts,’ is a reminder of our rich cultural heritage and the need to stay united as a nation. As we celebrate Azadi ka Amruth Mahotsav, let us reflect on the sacrifices of our forefathers and renew our commitment to building a better India for generations to come.”

Similar programs were organized by the Central GST department as well as Customs department at all major cities in the country.
