Foundation Stone Laid for Sattari Taluka

Three foundation stones for the ‘Upgradation Of Infrastructure In The Rural Areas Under Deendayal Panchayat Raj Infrastructure Development (Golden Jubilee) Scheme 2013 – Package VII (Sattari Taluka)’, were laid today at the hands of Rajendra Arlekar, Minister for Panchayati Raj, Environment & Forest, in the distinguished presence of Dr. Pramod Sawant, Chairman, GSIDC and MLA, Sanquelim constituency and Gurudas Pilarnekar, Director, Dgsidcirectorate of Panchayats and others.
Under the visionary leadership of Pramod P. Sawant, GSIDC is helping lead the way in building quality infrastructure for the state of Goa. Currently, the coporation is in the process of building roads, bridges, hospitals, colleges, schools, libraries, stadiums, jetties, bus stands, cultural centres and market complexes and is involved in the holistic development of rural and urban spaces.
Now, adding to this list of works, GSIDC has taken up the construction of the mini market complex at V.P. Pissurlem, the construction of Panchayat Ghar with a market complex at V.P.Cotorem as well as the construction of market complex and multipurpose hall at V.P. Dongurli – Thane. All three projects fall under the Deendayal Panchayat Raj Infrastructure Development(Golden Jubilee) Scheme 2013 – Package VII (Sattari Taluka).
The mini market complex at V.I Pissurlem will be a ground +2 storied structure with a built up area of 1528.57 sq mts. The cost is approximately 1.38 crores. The consultants on the project are Bhaskar Wagle and Associates and the contractor is Mahabaleshwar M. Naik & Co.
The Panchayat Ghar with a market complex at V.P.Cotorem will be a ground +2 storied structure with a built up area of 1072.69 sq mts. The cost of the project is approximately 1.72 crores. The consultants on the project are Nilesh Salkar Associates.
The market complex and multipurpose hall at V.P. Dongurli – Thanewill be a ground +2 storied structure with a built up area of 1336.06 sq mts. The cost of the project is approximately 1.42 crores. The consultants on the project are Nilesh Salkar Associatesand the contractor is Mahabaleshwar M. Naik
& Co.
