Goa Santosh Trophy Captain, Jessel Carneiro Joins Kerala Blasters FC

Kerala Blasters FC is proud to announce the signing of Curtorim born, Jessel Carneiro for the upcoming season of the Indian Super League (ISL). The 29-year-old Jessel will be joining the club from Dempo Sporting Club. The ISL debutant captained Goa during the 2018-19 Santosh Trophy held in Punjab wherein the team secured a second spot in the tournament. Jessel,a versatile player who predominantly plays in the left back position has previously played for Salgaocar, FC Pune and Dempo SC along with his experience in tournaments like Santosh Trophy.

Jessel Carneiro commented on the joining “I am very happy to be a part of Kerala Blasters FC for my debut season of the Indian Super League. This is going to be a turning point in my football career and I’m looking forward to an exciting and challenging season with the club. My focus will be to align with the goals of the club and will put in the best of my abilities to achieve the same with the team”.
