KSUM Startups Shine at ‘Startup Mahakumbh 2024’ in New Delhi

Showcasing their innovative products and solutions driven by cutting-edge technologies, ventures backed by Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) made a deep impression at the three-day ‘Startup Mahakumbh 2024’ that concluded in New Delhi today.

As many as nine startups from KSUM participated at the event that featured products and services from the entire country before leading stakeholders including investors, mentors and decision-makers.

Held at Bharat Mandapam in the national capital, the event saw convergence of incubators, accelerators and industry leaders from several sectors. It was organized by ASSOCHAM, NASSCOM, Bootstrap Incubation & Advisory Foundation, TiE and Indian Venture and Alternate Capital Association (IVCA). The focal theme of the event was ‘Bharat Innovates’.

‘Startup Mahakumbh 2024’ was packed with a host of exciting activities including mentorship clinics, pitch competitions, and a multi-track conference featuring leadership talks, panel discussions, workshops for startups as well as budding entrepreneurs.

More than 1000 high-potential startups from India and across the world participated in the event including key stakeholders like unicorn startups, venture capitalists, corporates, and industry leaders.

KSUM CEO Anoop Ambika said it was a significant event for Kerala startups which showcased pivotal innovations from the state’s startup ecosystem.

Noting that the event was a game-changer in the entrepreneurial landscape of the country, Shri Anoop said it served as a unique platform where India’s innovation prowess took the centre-stage before the global innovators.

The CEO said the nine startups from KSUM could interact with stakeholders including investors, industry leaders and mentors, besides showcasing their products and solutions at the expo.

“Startups have gained valuable insights from workshops and masterclasses hosted by industry veterans and unicorn founders. Considering the event’s scale and quality, the participation of these startups at the expo will help strengthen the pillars of the state’s startup ecosystem,” he added.

The KSUM startups that attended the event are Dale Vihari Trips, Picky Assist, Apothecary Medical Services LLP, Alphageek Enterprises, Shadanga Ayurveda, Venttup Ventures, Buzcatch, Benlycos and Aakri Impact.

‘Startup Mahakumbh’ aims to foster innovation, uniting entrepreneurs, and propelling the growth of the Indian startup ecosystem. The event also featured a Future Entrepreneurs Day on the concluding day, with a focus on cultivating the entrepreneurial spirit among students.

The event hosted more than 1000 investors, 500-plus incubators & accelerators, around 5000 conference delegates, more than 10 country delegations and 40,000-plus business visitors.

KSUM is the Kerala government’s nodal agency for entrepreneurship development and incubation activities in the state.
