Muthoot Finance, India’s largest gold loan NBFC supports Sinimol K Sebastian to embark on an incredible journey to participate in the prestigious World Dwarf Games 2023. The competition will take place in the Deutsche Sporthochschule in Cologne, Germany, from July 28th to August 5th, 2023. During the competition, Sinimol will be competing in multiple swimming categories like breaststroke, freestyle along with shot put, javelin throw, discus throw and boccia in the event.
To honor a world class dwarf athlete – Sinimol, Muthoot Finance organized a ceremony at the Press Club in Ernakulam, Kerala on 20th July 2023. . George M George, Deputy Managing Director of Muthoot Finance, addressed the press conference and highlighted Muthoot Finance’s commitment towards supporting the exceptional sports talent of India. As part of the initiative, Muthoot Finance will be taking care of Sinimol’s entire tour expenses.
Despite hailing from a small town in Kerala and facing all the hardships, Sinimol was always passionate about sports and she dared to dream big. She has participated in various national events. She won a silver medal in the National Para Swimming Championship 2022, along with accolades from various NGOs and local clubs. The 8th World Dwarf Games is a global sporting event that brings together athletes with dwarfism from around the world to showcase their incredible skills and resilience. Sinimol’s participation in this prestigious event represents a
significant milestone for India.
