THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
The 22 nd Biennial Conference of the International Society for Comparative Physical Education and Sport (ISCPES) will be held from November 1 st to 3 rd at O By Tamara, Thiruvananthapuram. This is the first time India is hosting the conference.
The International Society for Comparative Physical Education and Sports will lead the conference jointly organized by Laxmibhai National College of Physical Education and Sports Authority of India. Union Minister Anurag Singh Thakur will inaugurate the conference on November 2. Delegates from 29 countries including global experts and researchers in the field of sports will participate in the conference.
The main theme of this conference is Sports and Physical Education: During and after the Pandemic. A yoga pre-conference workshop was also organized
at LNCP ahead of the Conference. SAI LNCPE Principal & Regional Head Dr. G Kishore inaugurated. Yoga therapists Vinay Kumar Bharti, Rajeev Chaudhary, Madhu Khurana, Dr. I.N. Acharya took the classes.
Dr. G Kishore, Principal & Regional Head, SAI LNCPE Region, Prof. Rosa Lopez D’Amico, President, ISCPES, Dr. Usha Sujith Nair, Vice Chancellor, National Sports University, Dr. Walter Ho, Professor, Tokyo Gakugei University, Japan, Prof. Youn Shin Nam, Professor, Duksung Women’s University, South Korea, Jennie Xie, University Malaya, Malaysia led the board meeting and evaluated the final stage preparations of the conference.
