Suraksha’21: Covid Suraksha Awareness Program by ESAF

ESAF aims to spread awareness among 1 million people through its ambitious project Suraksha’21. The first step towards Suraksha’21 was launched by Kavitha Madhavan, President, Kizhakkenchery Grama Panchayat at Primary Health Center, Kizhakkenchery, Palakkad.

The program truly imbibes the spirit of the United Nation’s declaration- “No one is safe till everyone is safe”’. Covid Suraksha Awareness Program (CSAP) launched by ESAF will be spread across 11 states. ESAF is on a mission to spread awareness among the public on handling the covid situations with the theme “Fight it, Face it, Defeat it”. ESAF has also been actively working with community leaders in different vernaculars and equipping them with awareness materials.

Alongside Suraksha’21, ESAF also aims to provide support in vaccinating over 5 Lakh Indians in partnership with the Local Self Government, district hospital and Primary Health Centers. The launch of the Suraksha’21 program was organised at Primary Health Center- Kizhakkenchery, the home panchayat of ESAF Founder K. Paul Thomas.

The function was presided over by Kavitha Madhavan- President Kizhakkenchery Grama Panchayat, Palakkad district. Dr Jacob Samuel- Co-Founder & Director of ESAF, Dr Sheena Starlin- Chief Medical Officer Family Health Centre, Kizhakkenchery, K.B.S. Lobo- Health Inspector Kizhakkenchery, Reji K. Daniel- Head Sustainable Banking ESAF SFB, and Jomy T.O., Cluster Head Palakkad, ESAF SFB also participated in the program. ESAF has also assured to support the initiatives of grama panchayats, district hospitals and PHCs in their vaccination drives till everyone is vaccinated.
