Uzbekistan Health Ministry and TMA Delegation Addresses Indian Students and Parents

A high-profile delegation from Uzbekistan’s Health Ministry recently visited India to address aspiring Indian students to study medicine at Tashkent Medical Academy (TMA).

The delegation aimed to clarify doubts, offer guidance, and to do spot admissions with scholarships in the seminars organized in Kochi, Calicut, and other major cities of India, through its TMA South Asian Representative office, Hyderabad and its representatives to help students from deceitful agents who falsely promise admission to TMA and disappear after collecting hefty sums. But will give opportunity to registered agencies who work ethically and legally.

Dr. Divya Raj Reddy, Indian Representative of Uzbekistan Health Ministry: – As a part of the initiatives taken in the Uzbek – Indo Health Forum, played a pivotal role in coordinating this delegation visit and announcing the launch of a Uzbek Health Ministry, TMA toll-free helpline 1800-123-2931 for TMA & Medical Institutions, enabling students and parents to verify the authenticity of the information, admissions, etc.
before making any decisions. She further added that time to time informing about NMC norms where Health Minister Mr. Innayatov A and TMA Rector Alisher S are bringing good reforms for the prospects of Indian students studying there. Concern the students safety and welfare, Indian and Uzbek Ambassadors Manish Prabhath and Dilshod Akhatov are taking excellent care.
