Aster Medcity hosted a special gathering for mothers and babies as part of the World Breastfeeding Week. The event was inaugurated by the renowned Malayalam actress, Miya George.
World Breastfeeding Week is observed globally from August 1st to 7th each year to promote awareness about the vital importance of breastfeeding for infants. More than 20 mothers and their babies enthusiastically participated in the event, which included informative sessions highlighting the significance of breastfeeding. The programme also addressed the concerns and doubts of mothers regarding this natural process.
Dr. Jose Paul, Senior Consultant, Neonatology, Aster Medcity, along with Consultants Dr. George Jose, Dr. S. Rajasree, and others, participated in the event to support and educate the attendees on the benefits of breastfeeding.
