Class 8 student from Thrissur Wins TCS INQuizitive 2023

THRISSUR:
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS) announced the winners of its flagship interschool challenge TCS InQuizitive 2023 with Aditya KB from Vijayagiri Public School at Thrissur in Kerala taking home the National Championship title. Rohan Gupta from Cambridge Court World School, Jaipur (Rajasthan), was the first runner-up and Atindra Soundar Raja, Amber Valley Residential School, Chikamagalur (Karnataka), was the second runner-up.

This edition of the technology quiz showcased the exceptional knowledge of students from more than 4,800 schools across India. The national finals of the competition, hosted Quizmaster Pickbrain aka Giri Balasubramaniam, witnessed an intense showdown among the top eight finalists, all vying for the
prestigious National Champion title. The latest edition drew a massive turnout, engaging over 17,500 students from classes 8 to 12, with a large number from tier II and tier III cities.

K Krithivasan, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of TCS, gave away prizes to the winners at a ceremony held in Mumbai and reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to nurturing the digital acumen of young India.

“I am amazed by the incredible talent displayed at this edition of InQuizitive. The session was highly engaging and educational. Witnessing the sheer brilliance of these young minds is truly motivating, revealing the limitless potential within our future leaders. The intelligence, sharpness, and confidence
displayed by these kids from class 8-12, inspire me. There is much the older generations can learn from our youngsters. They consistently push us to expand our knowledge and improve. Their grasp of complex subjects and their ability to navigate tough questions in minutes not only reflect their exceptional understanding but also motivate us to learn and adapt to a changing world. Importantly, it serves as a reminder to keep that spark of curiosity alive. Congratulations to all the winners and participants.” said Krithivasan.

The national champion and runners-up were awarded trophies in recognition of their exemplary performances. The top eight finalists, including the winners, also received gift vouchers. TCS InQuizitive serves as a platform for students to learn about the technological revolution across various domains like science, sports, engineering, mathematics, and arts, among others, through discussions and intriguing questions. It exemplifies TCS’ dedication to nurturing curiosity, innovation, and technological proficiency among students, aligning seamlessly with the organization’s overarching mission of empowering youth with IT and digital knowledge.
