The adjudicators of Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records presented and handed over the citations and medals to Devndra Chawla, CEO & MD, GreenCell Mobility. This attempt is all about the first electric intercity bus driven and taken care by an all-woman staff. The attempt falls under the ‘Human Story’ category of Asia Book of Records.
NueGo took a step towards bringing electric vehicles and women’s empowerment together by doing the world’s first ever all-woman electric intercity bus ride between Delhi and Agra on 16th May 2023. The bus was driven by a woman coach captain, hosted by a woman coach host, and carried only women passengers. This revolutionary journey was flagged off by Mr. Devndra Chawla, CEO & MD of GreenCell Mobility, with an aim to break barriers, shatter stereotypes, and celebrate the incredible strength and resilience of women.
