KOCHI:
UDF candidate from Ernakulam assembly constituency T J Vinod started his second phase of the election campaign from Cheranelloor, listing the development activities carried out in that area.
The second phase of the campaign started after visiting various religious organisations and prominent persons during the first phase. He pointed out that during his tenure as MLA, Rs 4.5 crore was allotted for the development of roads, Rs 50 lakh for mini park and open Gymnasium at Vaduthala-Chittoor road, which was dumped with waste.
Aasti development fund was used for solving drinking water crisis, renovation of Cheranelloor Ayurveda hospital and two building blocks at Government LP School. Works of Cheranelloor Ferry, water metro jetty are continuing and all the works which was started by former MLA Hibi Eden are also continuing.
Cheranelloor panchayat president K G Rajesh and former panchayat president Sony gave reception to the second phase of campaign. T J Vinod has visited several houses at the Cheranelloor area and participated in a public rally at Chittoor.
T J Vinod will submit the nomination before assistant returning officer Ernakulam City Rationing Officer (Erankulam North) on March 18, 11 am.
